Notice to Bidders

 Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Treasurer of Galion City Schools 470 Portland Way North, Galion, OH 44833 until 12:00 noon, local time, on August 17, 2012 and will be publically opened thereafter for Heavy Duty Visitor Bleachers at Unckrich Stadium, Heise Park. Bid specifications may be obtained at the Galion City School District Board of Education Office, they may be emailed, or faxed by calling 419-468-3432. Bids must contain the name of every person interested therein and be accompanied by a bid and performance bonds required by Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code as a guarantee that the bidder will, if the award is made to the bidder, enter into a proper contract with the board of education for the project and furnish a performance bond for the amount of the contract at the time the bidder executes the contract. All such bonds, certified checks, cashier’s checks and money orders and letters of credit shall be payable to the Galion City School District. No bid shall be permitted to the withdrawn without the express approval of the Galion City School District Board of Education except as provided under the Ohio Revised Code and said bid shall be firm for the sixty-five (65) from date received. The Galion City School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, the right to accept the lowest or any other bid which promotes the best interest of the Board and the right to waiver any irregularities in any proposal. By the order of the Galion City School District Board of Education, Jeri Wires, Interim Treasurer.
