Thank you for your interest in the Galion City School District. We proudly serve approximately 2000 students from preschool through graduation. We offer students a broad range of academic and extra-curricular opportunities.
Our district has made a strong commitment to expanding student access to learning through 21stCentury tools. Specifically, we are implementing a One-to-One Technology Program in grades 3-9. Students in grades 3-5 have access to an iPad and students in grades 6-9 have a laptop computer. Students may use these devices 24 hours day / seven days a week to access digital content, educational software, personal productivity, and communication tools.
Our board, administration, teachers, and support staff work diligently to enable all students to find success. We continue to make significant academic improvements and are proud of our Effective Rating on the Ohio School District Report Card. It promises to be another great year in the Galion City School District. We look forward to your involvement and encouragement throughout the year!
