Charge Policy for Galion Elementary and Intermediate Schools

Due to excessive charges in our cafeteria, effective January 1, 2011 students will not be permitted to charge more than one day. It is the responsibility of the student to have lunch money or a packed lunch. If they arrive at school without either money or a packed lunch, we are not required to feed them lunch. If a student has charged and returns a second day without money or a packed lunch, they will not be provided a lunch. The student will be given an opportunity to call home so parents can bring a lunch or money to school. Money can easily be deposited into your student's account through our PayForIt system. If you feel your child would qualify for our free or reduced lunch program but is not currently enrolled, please contact their school office. Downloadable forms are listed below. Students will continue to receive free breakfast daily.
