Questions and Answers

Question

Answer

I received the July district newsletter and there is information that is out-of-date. What is the district doing to prevent this from happening in the future?

Yes, this was a problem and we apologize for an inconvenience this caused. Our goal is to work closely with the printer on future deadlines and the overall printing process to insure this does not happen again in the future.

I live in Morrow County and am not a resident of the Galion City School District. I receive the district newsletter because of I have Galion address. To save money, can the district send the newsletter to only Galion City School District residents?

The district newsletter is sent as a bulk mailing to “Postal Patrons” which means it is delivered to every mailbox in the 44833 area code. We carefully evaluated this and found it is more cost-effective to mail it in this manner, even if a few get delivered to residents that are outside the district.

Can students wear any approved color of t-shirt under their polo or are t-shirts limited to only white in color?

The t-shirts worn under the polo shirts must be white in color.

Why does the crossing guard at Heise Park Lane not wear a reflective vest? He is very hard to see and I am concerned about his safety.

Yes, we are very concerned about safety of our staff and students. A vest is ordered and all crossing guards will be wearing the vest as soon as they arrive in the district. Thank you for your concern.
